In 2017 the very first edition took place in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering & Packaging and the Technical University of Munich in Munich, Germany. A group of food scientists, academicians, and industry leaders gathered in Munich for the first edition of what today has become the most renowned food science conference in Europe.
